I learned a lot over the course of writing and drawing the first issue, and I put it into practice for this one. The art style is more well defined, my framing feels better, and overall I just think it's a better book! I'm really looking forward to creating issue 3, but it will likely be next year before I can sit down to work on it with my schedule being the way that it is.
The physical copies for issue 2 were printed through Comix Wellspring, which is a more local operation and it felt neat to work with them. It was a much more personal experience than I had with issue 1, and I intend to continue working with them in the future (especially since it seems difficult to find US printers that print in B5 format, which is what issue 2 is). HOWEVER, I'm kind of thinking I might want to try and be picked up by an actual publisher if possible, because the logistics and other time consuming, brain-eating aspects of self publishing is a pain I'd like to be rid of, haha!
(If you are a publisher and interested in working together, drop me a line!!!)
I won't be posting it for free for at least six months, so if you're itching to find out what happens in Episode 2, you can head over to my shop and buy a physical or digital copy! I hope that you all enjoy it! :)
